Nestled between the Backcountry and Pintop, the Pathfinder system is built for those prioritizing on-road comfort and off-road confidence. Akin to a Backcountry on pavement and only slightly off-pace the Pintop’s dirt performance, the Pathfinder removes all strain from your daily drive while inspiring you to venture beyond the tarmac.
 
This system delivers a controlled and predictable ride for light to moderate off-road use, though it won’t stay as composed as the Pintop over aggressive, high-speed terrain. On the road, however, the Pathfinder stands out. Small and medium imperfections are absorbed with ease, creating a supple, comfortable ride that doesn’t require an aggressive driving style to feel its benefits. It’s the perfect choice for drivers who value daily comfort, but want their suspension to come alive when venturing off the pavement.
 
 

Shock Details:

The Pathfinder is equipped with Carli-SPEC 2.5” aluminum-bodied shocks finished with a hard-anodized coating for superior corrosion and scratch resistance. All billet components are black-anodized, creating a sleek, premium look straight out of the box—an aesthetic that previously cost customers over $1,200 in custom color upgrades on our King kits. Inside, we’ve spec’d a high-performance red shock oil designed to resist heat and fade, even under spirited driving, ensuring consistent damping and long-term reliability. The Pathfinder delivers unmatched on-road composure and comfort for which many are happy to sacrifice the extremes of off-road capability they’d find in our King-Shock offerings.

Sway Bar Option

*OPTIONAL* - The Leveling System will ride best with the Torsion Sway Bar. This upgraded sway bar lightens the spring rate of the front sway bar providing an independent suspension-like feel. Maintaining the factory sway bar is only recommended for customers with snow-plows, in-bed campers or who are constantly hauling to the capacity of the truck.

Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer

*OPTIONAL* - Bolt in steering stabilizer replacing the OEM unit in the factory location. Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the left-hand pull inherent to tires like Nitto Trail Grapplers. Run in conjunction with the Carli High Mount for the ultimate Dual, Opposing Steering Stabilizer combination that's infinitely adjustable.

High-Mount Steering Stabilizer

*OPTIONAL* - Bolt in compliment to the Carli Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer. Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the right-hand pull inherent to tires like Toyo Mud Terrains. This is NOT a primary stabilizer and MUST be run with either a Carli or OEM lower stabilizer in the factory location.

Radius Arm Options

*OPTIONAL* - Icing on the cake, these arms add Limit Strap Protection for your Front Shocks, 1/4" Boxed Steel Construction, Serviceable 17-4 Stainless Spherical Bearings and maintain the factory caster adjustment.

Radius Arm Drop Bracket Option

*OPTIONAL* - The Carli Leveling Systems do NOT include radius arm drop brackets as the 2.5" lift height can still achieve proper caster by maxing the factory caster adjustment. Adding these Radius Arm Drop Brackets will lower the arm pivot point to account for the lift height opening the full range of caster adjustment and correcting spring pressures to ensure NO bowing of the coil spring. Although these are not required, they are recommended.

Front Differential Guard

*OPTIONAL* - 1/4" Steel Construction differential skid provides cheap insurance when the terrain becomes unpredictable. Way better to have this and not need it than need it and not have it!

Lifetime Ball Joints

*OPTIONAL* - The last set of ball joints you'll install carrying the industry's best warranty you won't need to use!
